DPM tells Nadma to continue monitoring agencies’ disaster preparedness

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 1 — Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has urged the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma), as secretariat of the Central Disaster Management Committee (JPBP), to continue monitoring the preparedness levels of all agencies involved to face disasters.

Continuous rain warning: Nadma orders activation of disaster management committees

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 — The National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) has ordered that the State Disaster Management Committees (JPBN) and district chapters (JPBD) be activated following the alert-level continuous rain warning for several areas issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) last night.
